A tale of days remembered
This track has a nice lead guitar intro with a total Lynyrd Skynrd feel. A very laid back and mellow tune. The lead vocalist has a little Jon Bon Jovi in his voice. He calls out to your ears commanding attention to his message of days gone by and the pleasant memories he retains. The hook hits in the right areas adding power to the story. Soothing and mellow tones, this track is a good listen. The lead guitarist adds a haunting melody in several spots which works very well with the overall mood of the piece. Very deep feel tugging at the soul of the listener. I would suggest a little longer outro with the lead guitarist riffing away into a fade out to further add to the strength of a very nice song.
Extra Credit: Guitars, Melody, Mood.

Thats it right there...
This Song even means more to me now.
May Dad also passed away from Cancer.
Before he got a chance to see my Girls.
I'm sure that last post was hard to type.
Many thanks for sharing that with me.

SVS,
You felt it 100 percent right my friend.
That makes me happy.
The song is about when me and my Wife were dating as teenagers.
Her Dad got Cancer and died at home within a year on Christmas Eve.
Her Dad got to know me but not really know me and I never got to ask his permission to marry her. We were young and marriage was still aways off but we knew we were right for each other.
It was fucked up because he was starting to like me but we never had a chance to get past the "What are your intentions with my daughter phase?"
The fact she lost her Dad at 18 right after graduation was hard on her.
He wasnt there when we got married 3 years later or when we had our Son 5 years after that.
I am really glad you liked that song.
That song means the most to me out of all of my songs.
My Wife is a tough cookie and she crys evertime she hears it. I actually stopped playing it live for awhile because I swear I would get a lump in my throat and fuck it up.
At one time I was one of those poor saps that not only gets invited to weddings but is asked to be in them.
Weddings suck and are expensive.
Every damn wedding I was in, someone would get a copy of that song and play it. That mixed with a few drinks and my Wife is crying and then I am tearing up. Then other people who knew the story were crying. And of course if anyone from her family or my family were there, they knew the story and they were crying. If it wasnt so sad to me it would almost be funny.
That song has a lot of meaning for Me and my Wife.
That is a pretty cool feeling when your music brings that much emotion out of someone.
Thanks for getting it SVS!

Bob....
Sweet Music....ALL of it.
From the High energy of Goodnight to the mellow Ballad of Pitchin Pennies.(These were my Favs.)
Great music!
I love everything about Goodnight. The beginning nice
pretty..then Bam a punch in the face...everything is cool
about this.. The guitarist melts the neck. That gave me wood. Nothing like a good song with killer shredding.
Pitchin Pennies feels to be something special.
I'd like to hear the story behind this...
I felt it. I got 2 girls...I know that day is gonna come,
where I have to let them go.
( I hope I felt it right)
Thanks for sharing Man!
See you at your next Show. I'm Buyin.
